Once the purchase is complete, you will receive an email with the "Information Document" and "Rules and Considerations for the Visit". You must reply to this email confirming your agreement in order to process your booking and receive your access voucher for the activity. No changes or refunds are permitted once the purchase has been made. The El Soplao mining visit consists of a via ferrata, which, unlike other existing via ferratas, is entirely on one level. The tour takes place through a mining gallery (La Florida Mines). This visit has a total length of 2 kilometers and the estimated duration of the route is approximately 3 and a half hours. The duration of the visit may be affected by the pace of the group, as well as the number of people in it.
IMPORTANT: The equipment provided for the activity consists of: polypropylene coveralls, helmet, headlamp, rubber boots, harness with energy absorbers, anchor line, 2 carabiners, and pulley. For this type of activity, it is mandatory to wear protective gloves (gardening type) to prevent abrasions.
This visit does not require prior knowledge of caving, but a certain level of physical fitness is necessary.
Activity not suitable for:1) people with cardio and/or respiratory problems / Claustrophobia, epileptic seizures or convulsions, history of stroke, balance disorders or vertigo, gait or walking difficulties / 2)People with morbid obesity, insulin-dependent diabetes, uncontrolled high blood pressure3)Pregnant women4)People with reduced mobility5)Any other condition unfavorable for participating in the activity.
Ages 14 and up.Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Weight must be between 45 and 115 kg (safety range of the energy absorber). In case of doubt, the guides will check the weight.
